The fact that I can no longer hold down the backspace button in order to clear the screen is a feature that I find extremely annoying. Instead, I have to extend my reach in order to press the button for the air conditioner. Every time I use this app, I instinctively keep my finger on the backspace button, and when I finally let go, it only deletes a single character. After that, I have to make the necessary corrections and then press the AC button, which transforms what was previously a single, simple action into two additional, more difficult ones. Each and every single time Why is it that the backspace key cannot be used as AC like it was in the past?
The most recent update to this calculator introduced arbitrary changes, but previously it was just as dependable as an older model. The most notable change was the removal of the Clear button, while the backspace was also relocated. This is something that I have to deal with constantly, and it disrupts my work flow. Why mess with something that is already working perfectly well just so you can say that it is “fresh”? I simply require the calculator app to function as a calculator. That sums it up nicely. Still is annoying despite the fact that it serves its intended purpose.
